 Day 1 - Arrival

Welcome to Rome! Upon arrival at Rome Airport, independent transfer to your accommodation. Overnight in Rome.

 Day 2 - Vatican Museum Tour

When in Rome, a visit to the Vatican is not to be missed. The seat of the Roman Catholic Church is a treasure trove of history, art and architecture. You’ll start the tour at the Vatican Museums, where your guide will walk you through an enormous collection of artworks that Popes have collected over the centuries. During your visit, there'll be a lot to see, including the Gallery of Maps, the Gallery of Tapestries, and Michelangelo's breathtaking frescoed ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. After that, it's on to St. Peter's Basilica, one of the world's greatest churches, featuring iconic masterpieces like Bernini's huge baldachin and Michelangelo's Pietà. The tour ends at St. Peter's Square, which is beautifully framed by Bernini's double colonnade and offers a prime view of the Basilica and the surrounding buildings. Overnight in Rome.

 Day 3 - Rome Food Tour

Begin your journey in the enchanting Jewish Quarter, savoring iconic Roman street food like fried artichokes and kosher delicacies. Learn about the Jewish community's culinary influence. Wander through the Centro Storico, sampling fried codfish and mouthwatering pizza slices, and delve into the world of craft beer. Experience the fusion of Roman and Neapolitan street food, visit historic sites, and indulge in porchetta and gelato.  Day 4 - Imperial Rome Tour

With an incredible history spanning over 2,500 years, Rome is a wonderland of ancient sites and archaeological attractions that offer a fascinating peek into its glorious past. With an art historian guide, you’ll take a fabulous journey to the origins of the empire and some of its treasures. You’ll start at the Colosseum, the site that dominates the city’s skyline, where bloody gladiator games were staged to entertain the crowds - as well as other uses you’ll discover during the tour. You’ll then visit the Roman Forum, a large site that used to be the hub of public life in ancient Rome. Its impressive ensemble of ruins reveals a lot about the events that took place here, including Caesar’s funeral. Finally, you’ll reach the top of the Palatine Hill, the legendary place where the she-wolf found Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome. Overnight in Rome.
